Collagen, from within

A precision pen with sterile, single-use cartridges is moved across the skin at a depth set for your concerns, with pure hyaluronic acid (included with every session), your own PRP, or an add-on serum chosen for your skin. The tiny channels prompt your skin to make new collagen and elastin.

The result is gradual and natural: smoother texture, softer lines and a brighter, more even tone over a short series of treatments.

Every microneedling session includes pure hyaluronic acid for hydration. For an extra boost, you can add MG-EXO-GLO or one of three DP Dermaceuticals MG serums, chosen for your main concern. Each one is sterile and single use.

What to expect

Consultation

We assess your skin, concerns and health history and plan your series. All treatments are performed by licensed nurses under medical directive.

Comfort

The skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied for 30 minutes.

Treatment

The pen is moved across the area at a depth set for your skin. The needling itself takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

Results

A glow appears within days. Texture and tone improve around 4 to 6 weeks after each session and keep building over the series. Individual results vary.

Is It Right for You?

A good fit if you

  • Are 19 or older and in good general health
  • Have uneven texture, enlarged pores or fine lines
  • Have mild to moderate acne scarring
  • Want gradual, natural-looking results
When it may not be suitable
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • A lot of active acne, eczema or infection in the area (your nurse works around a pimple or two)
  • Isotretinoin (Accutane) use in the past 6 months
  • A tendency to form keloid scars
  • Bleeding disorders or blood thinning medications, reviewed at your consultation
  • A recent sunburn or active tan
Possible side effects
  • Redness and warmth, like a mild sunburn
  • Tightness, dryness or light flaking
  • Pinpoint bleeding during treatment
  • Mild swelling or bruising

These usually settle within 1 to 3 days. Contact us right away if you have any concerns.

Before & after care

Before

  • Stop retinol, AHAs, BHAs and exfoliants 5 to 7 days before
  • Avoid sun and tanning for 2 weeks
  • No waxing or laser hair removal on the area for 1 week
  • If your doctor approves, avoid alcohol and blood thinners for 24 to 48 hours
  • Arrive with clean skin, no makeup

After

  • No makeup for 24 hours
  • Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer only
  • Avoid intense exercise and heat for 48 hours
  • No retinol or acids for 5 to 7 days
  • Wear SPF 30 or higher every day

Frequently asked questions

Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is applied for 30 minutes first. Most clients say they feel the vibration of the pen more than the needles, and the depth is adjusted for your comfort.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients do 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, then maintenance every 6 to 12 months.
Can I add PRP?
Yes. PRP made from a small sample of your blood is applied during treatment to support healing and collagen. We can also deliver PRP with the Beauty Booster. See our PRP & PRF page.
Can microneedling help thinning hair?

Is there downtime?
Expect redness like a mild sunburn for 1 to 3 days. Makeup can usually go on after 24 hours. Book at least 1 week before a major event.
