The Treatment

Softer lines,
still you.

Neuromodulators temporarily block the nerve signal that tells a muscle to contract. The muscle relaxes and the skin above it smooths, softening lines from frowning, squinting or raising your brows. Botox, Dysport and Xeomin work in a similar way. We choose the one that suits your area, your goals and how your body responds.

Prefer soft movement for a natural look, or a smoother, more defined finish? Your plan is adjusted to the amount of expression you want to keep.

What to expect

Consultation

We review your health history and medications, assess your muscle movement at rest and in expression, and choose the right product, placement and dose. Consent is reviewed before treatment, and all treatments are performed by licensed nurses under medical directive.

Treatment

Fine, precise injections over 20 to 30 minutes. Most clients feel a small pinch. For hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet, numbing cream can be applied for 20 to 30 minutes first, so plan for about 45 minutes in total.

Results

Softening begins in 3 to 5 days, with full results at 14 days. Your 2-week follow-up is complimentary, so we can assess your result and adjust if needed. Individual results vary.

Maintenance

Results last 3 to 4 months, or often 6 to 9 months for underarm hyperhidrosis. Regular visits keep your results consistent.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does it hurt?
Most clients describe a small pinch. The needles are very fine and the treatment is quick. Numbing cream is available on request, and for hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet numbing can be applied for 20 to 30 minutes first.
Will I look frozen?
Our goal is a natural result. We agree on how much movement you want to keep before we start, and plan the dose around it.
Is there any downtime?
Very little. Small pinpoint marks or mild redness can appear and usually fade within a few hours.
Can it help with jaw clenching or hyperhidrosis?
Yes. Relaxing the masseter muscle can ease clenching, grinding (bruxism) and TMJ tension. For hyperhidrosis of the underarms, hands and feet, it blocks the signal that activates the sweat glands. Underarm results usually last 6 to 9 months, and results for the hands and feet vary. Both are assessed at your consultation.
Is the follow-up included?
Yes. Your 2-week follow-up is complimentary. We check your result once it has fully settled and make small adjustments if needed.
